Report Stolen Mail to Postal Inspectors, Online or by Phone
If you suspect your mail was stolen, report it to the US Postal Inspection Service (USPIS): USPIS says you can report online at report.uspis.gov or call 1-877-876-2455. For a crime in progress, call 911.
For slow mail or delivery problems, go to the US Postal Service (USPS) help page, not USPIS.
Where to report what
USPIS explains (USPIS report):

- Delivery delays or service problems: the USPS help page.
- Personal information stolen through the mail: if stolen information has given or could give someone access to your financial accounts, report it at report.uspis.gov.
- Mail fraud and scams: use the USPIS mail fraud complaint form, or write to the Criminal Investigations Service Center in Chicago.
- Fake USPS texts or emails: such as messages about a failed package delivery; forward them to spam@uspis.gov, then delete them.
