美國移民局USCIS 線上帳號:追蹤簽證進度、收取官方通知、線上繳費
Alongside everything else about settling in, dealing with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is unavoidable. Applying for status, checking a case, receiving official notices: all of it runs through a USCIS online account. Here's what it is, how to create one, and what you can do with it.
📌 What it is
USCIS Account is the official USCIS online account, used for immigration processes of all kinds.
With it you can:
File applications online: I-90, N-400, I-130, and others.
Check your case status.
Receive notices, including Requests for Evidence (RFE) and interview notices.
Upload additional documents.
Pay filing fees online.
👉 It's the official channel between you and the immigration service.
📌 Creating an account
1️⃣ Go to the official site
: USCIS Online Account
2️⃣ Create the account
Click "Create an Account".
Enter your email and set a password.
A verification email is sent to that address.
3️⃣ Verify your identity
Enter the code from the email back on the site.
Turn on two-factor authentication (worth doing for an account this sensitive).
4️⃣ Start using it
Once logged in you can choose a form to file and track your cases.
📌 What you'll use most
Case Status: enter your receipt number to see where a case stands.
Documents: official notices are posted here as PDFs.
Messages: receive and reply to official USCIS messages.
Filing Forms Online: complete and submit forms online, which is considerably faster than paper.
📌 Why it matters
✅ Real-time tracking: you don't sit waiting for mail; you can see where the case is.
✅ Nothing gets lost: every notice is downloadable as a file.
✅ Faster responses: when an RFE arrives you upload the documents directly instead of mailing them.
✅ Protection against fraud: genuine notices appear here, so you can verify anything suspicious.
📌 Worth knowing
A USCIS account is free. Don't pay anyone to create one for you.
Each person needs their own account. Don't share.
Use an email address you actually check; most notifications go there.
If you forget the password, you can reset it by email.
📌 In short: open one early
Status applications, green card tracking, naturalization down the line:the USCIS account is the tool for all of it。
With it you always know where things stand, instead of watching for the mail carrier.
👉 Don't leave this one off your list.
Hi, I'm C from Taiwan, and I'm currently running a business in Los Angeles, USA. When I first arrived, it really wasn't easy. Whether it was the language or cultural differences, I spent a lot of time figuring out every little detail. But all those mistakes I made along the way helped me master the rhythm of adapting to life here quickly. I've gathered all my experience over the past few years on this website, hoping to help fellow Chinese speakers settle into American life sooner. Here, I share how to move over, find a job, and handle various daily tasks, saving you plenty of time and helping you avoid unnecessary detours. I hope my experience helps you start your new life in the US smoothly!
Running this site takes real work, and I'm grateful to everyone who supports it. If any of this has helped you, a small contribution keeps the updates coming.
